Mikaela committed suicide because GAL Jennifer Williams, a court appointed Guardian Ad Litem (GAL) refused to advocate for Mikaela Haynes and instead went to bat for Mikaela's rapist father. GAL Williams failed to protect Mikaela and Sara Haynes causing Mikaela to be raped by Charles Michael Haynes at Charles' mother Bernice Haynes house.
